Post Event Report on the 75th National Garment Fair
The 75th National Garment Fair was a Momentous occasion not just for The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) but for the entire Garment Industry. CMAI has been organizing Trade Fairs for past 40 Years without a Break, even during the Pandemic of COVID19. The Diamond Jubilee Edition of the National Garment Fair was a Super-Successful Trade Fair. Over 1000 Brands showcased their Latest Festive Collections to 34,447 National and International Visitors consisting of Retailers, Agents, Distributors and many more in this 4-Day Extravaganza.
On the sidelines of the National Garment Fair, CMAI signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Dubai Global Connect (DGC), Dubai, and The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI).
The MoU with DGC will provide the Association’s members with special Member Benefits, including discounts and other incentives, and ultimately benefit from DGC’s unique showroom Ecosystem. It also allows DGC to engage with CMAI’s 20,000+ membership base for knowledge sharing, information exchange, and host and attend special events, the CMAI said in a media release.
The MoU with SGCCI will help strengthen the booming textile market in Surat. CMAI is also soon opening its Regional office in Surat, one of the Leading Textile Hub in India.
