It is about the visual effect, about the entertainment value and above all, it is about the association with desirable lifestyles. Successful brands possess this association. To achieve this, they take a step further and are also script writers, movie producers, interior designers, social media manipulators, architects and advertising gurus. The industry is becoming more successful at reaping the rewards from the very fast rise of the internet sales channel. It is adding to brand value and it is bringing brands closer to the consumer. The challenge is to use this knowledge in the supply chain, to bring production in line with demand.
