Colombiamoda triggered the business course of the Fashion System for the second semester

August 2017. Colombiamoda, Colombia’s Fashion Week®, closed with USD$179 million in business forecasts, an amount that reiterates the invigorating performance of the Colombiamoda Trade show and the importance of the Textile – Manufacturing Industry for the region.  Stemming from the advancement of successful businesses surrounding the Fashion System, the Trade show was carried out from three fundamental axes: business, fashion, and knowledge.

From a total of  23,412 visitors to the Colombiamoda business showcase, 12,394 were buyers—87% national and 13% international from 56 countries—all gathered at the Trade show with a common purpose: to explore new business opportunities and access high-level offers that included innovative proposals by 600 exhibitors–87% national and 13% international–all participating in the commercial showcase of Colombiamoda 2017 and Textiles2

69 fashion moments by 61 national designers and 9 commercial brands welcomed 22,800 visitors to these stages.   Distinguished designers took charge of making trends for the next season clear by uplifting the creative power of Latin America.
