81st National Garment Fair Concludes with Record Business Turnover of INR 2500 Crores Draws Over 50,000 Buyers Across India
The 81st National Garment Fair (NGF), organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), concluded on a historic note with an estimated business turnover of INR 2500 Crores. The fair witnessed an unprecedented footfall of over 50,000 buyers, including retailers, distributors, agents, and wholesalers from across India.
Held in two segments — Kidswear in June and Women’s & Men’s Wear from July 14 to 16 — the 81ST NGF has cemented its position as India’s largest apparel B2B trade show. The recently concluded Men’s and Women’s Wear segment exceeded industry expectations, showcasing robust buyer interest and impressive order volumes ahead of the festive season.
Over 900 brands in Men’s and Women’s apparel and 40+ accessory labels participated in the latest edition, alongside 590 kidswear brands that showcased in the earlier segment. Exhibitors reported strong bookings and positive engagement, indicating rising confidence in the domestic garment sector.
The fair served as a dynamic platform for apparel manufacturers and buyers of India to network, explore new trends, and establish long-term partnerships. With healthy order placements and enthusiastic participation, NGF 81 reflected the strength and potential of India’s fashion retail ecosystem.
