Through its international work and through its network of industry associations the IAF has a good grasp of international legislation affecting apparel products across the world. Together with a few European members the IAF is currently building a suite of information products, but in the meantime, members are encouraged to pose to IAF questions about, for instance:
- International labeling
- Restricted Substances
- Fire safety (on a product level)
- Packaging norms
- Standardized definition of technical norms
