Jade Academy Was Opened at Ismailia Facility

The opening of the academy was held with the participation of Ayman Saleh, Chairman of the Board of the General Investment Authority of Ismailia, Selim Şankaya, CEO of Yeşim Group Co., Farhan Ifram, Jade Textile İsmailia General Manager, and Moataz Abu Bakr, Human Resources – Government Relations Manager.

Selim Şankaya, who spoke at the opening, stated that the Jade Academy initiative they implemented reflects the “People First” principle that Jade Textile has adopted since its establishment in Egypt. Şankaya stated that they attach great importance to the human resources within the company and their development and said that the word of him constitutes our one of the main philosophies by specifying that “in-house trainings that will help our employees to achieve their goals in their business and social lives are extremely valuable. The contribution of the late Şükrü Şankaya, the founder of Yeşim, to the economy is very important. But what is more important than that is our contribution to education. Because our contribution to education is much more important and valuable not only for our present but also for our future.”

Jade Academy, which has a capacity of 100 trainees and is established on an area of two hundred square meters, consists of 2 parts including a theater and a workshop hall. In the academy, it is aimed to implement development programs on basic topics such as communication and leadership skills, occupational health and safety, continuous improvement and quality – product safety, which will allow the development of behavioral and practical skills in order to establish continuous, effective and safe communication in the workplace.
