Yeşim has initiated a project to produce anti-viral and anti-bacterial face masks using knitted fabrics composing organic cotton and lycra material during the Covid-19 pandemic and developed two tight and flexible products through meticulous efforts of its R&D Center. Yeşim has completed all the necessary procedures to market this product and finally launched it on the market under the YSMGUARD brand through the leading retailing outlets in Turkey.
The fabric used to produce the face masks demonstrates high coverage properties thanks to its tight structure and high breathability with its light and slim design and makes advantage of the bio-compatibility feature of organic cotton for a perfect fit for the human face. One of the most significant features of the mask, which is developed in cooperation with Health Guard, a company with 25 years of experience in biotechnology and related products, is to stop the virus as soon as it is contacted. These masks are washable up to 50 times and are therefore considered sustainable and they are 99.4 percent effective in preventing the virus with their anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. These organic and environmentally friendly masks meeting BFE standards and holding CE certification, ECOTEX certification and anti-virus test reports, can be used in manufacturing plants, businesses or elsewhere outdoors in daily life.
