IAF Statement
IAF President Han Bekke and SG Matthijs Crietee participated in a call with ILO Director General Guy Ryder today, along with the IOE and four other federations representing the airline, tourism and transport industries, all heavily impacted by COVID-19.
The IAF repeated its call for supply chain solidarity and the importance of international financial institutions moving cash into the system fast, particularly to companies in countries with little financial means. The five federations all asked the ILO to help accelerate the flow of money and to help create greater global coordination and harmonization, now and also in the phase of restarting our economies.
