IAF Board Meeting, General Assembly and Texprocess Symposium in Frankfurt, May 8th
The IAF has decided to hold a second General Assembly, in addition to the one traditionally held at the IAF Convention, to allow more members to attend. We will present the IAF activities in 2017 and opportunities for you to participate in these events. But we will also offer you interesting speakers. Dan Rees, managing director of the ILO Better Works program will quite likely be one of our top speakers. This General Assembly directly precedes Messe Frankfurt’s Texprocess and Techtextil Fairs that some of you regularly attend. IAF will also be very visibly present at the Texprocess Fair this year! In the morning of Tuesday May 9th IAF runs the Symposium on ‘Industry 4.0’ in the floor of the Texprocess Fair. We have compliled a highly interesting mix of presentations and panel discussions on the hugely important subject with a key role for the digitization of our apparel industry. In the morning of Friday, May 12th the IAF runs the symposium at Texprocess on denim developments.
