Alvanon’s Ed Gribbin a Featured Guest on PIA’s “3D for Fashion” Panel Discussion

Alvanon president Ed Gribbin will join a panel discussion titled “3D Technology for Fashion/Apparel” at Product Innovation Apparel’s World Series, June 28, 2016, 3:15 p.m., The Union League Club, 38 E. 37th St. NYC.

Gribbin, a leading authority on the global business of fashion, will team up with technical experts from Gerber Technology, Caleres, CLO Virtual Fashion, Dassault Systems, Browzwear, Lectra and Optitex to discuss issues ranging from “3D is of interest, but where do I start?” to “What can we expect from an apparel company that has successfully adopted 3D in 5 years’ time?”

“Attendees to the panel discussion can ask virtually any question pertaining to the sometimes intricate task of knowing how to start, manage or improve 3D technology programs in the fashion industry,“ Gribbin says. “Our team of 3D experts covers virtually every aspect of the technology as it pertains to fashion design, training, accelerating speed to market, enhancing digital omni-channel marketing and integrating 3D and PLM systems. Ultimately, attendees will leave with a better understanding of how 3D facilitates greater customer satisfaction, fewer returns and increased sales.”
