The Taipei IN Style (TIS) 10th edition has successfully closed on November 9th after a series of showcases and business matchmakings. With a total of 196 fashion brands and designers’ participation and 25,000 visitors and buyers, generating approximately US$ 8.5 million worth of value. TIS has proved its strength of winning MICE Gold Award in September this year and believed it would continue to strive for excellence.
The 10th TIS formed 13 exciting fashion shows. To name a few, they were HKTDC’s STYLE HONG KONG by 14 Cantonese designers, haute couture show by Taiwanese designer Goji Lin, new digital printing collection by Taiwanese designer Gioia Pan, and the Taiwan Fashion Design Award 2014 Finale, etc. In the meanwhile, the TIS seminars covered various topics on 2015/16 autumn fashion trend and brand and product marketing strategy. Not only did it provide a know-how sharing hub on the newest information in the fashion industry, but it also helped companies upgrade their understandings and competitiveness in dealing with the global market challenges, which appealed to hundreds of audience. Another highlight of the event was the “buyers met exhibitors!” Buyers like Korean Hyundai Department Store, Malaysian PARKSON, Indonesian Galeries Lafayette, Japanese PARCO Department, Nagoya Mitsukoshi, ATELIER and so on were able to find the brands they thought they had great retail potentials, such as Taiwan’s brands Dleet and Sweet Villians, Singapore’s ANGE REVOLT, Hong Kong’s ANVEGLOSA, Japan’s mimic, and Italy’s Daniel Wong.
